How big is the land?:
Many of the viewers to the property have been surprised, or even amazed, at the amount of land that comprises of this property - most come from a suburban situation where even 1/4 of an acre is considered to be a big garden. This page is an attempt to give those who have not seen such properties an idea of how big 27 acres is. The map that is shown on this page is just a rough sketch (excuse the wobbly lines, I cannot draw straight on a computer!) and is not to scale.
27 acres is roughly 11 full sized football pitches. If the land of this property was a square, each side would be about 365 yards long. Try measuring your steps over 10 yards, then walk down the street the steps required for 365 yards.

- The black line across the top is the lane giving access to and passing the property. It joins the main road on the right.
- The green outer line shows the boundary
- The turquoise lines show the field boundaries and hedgelines.
- The blue line at the bottom represents the stream that drains this and some of the surrounding land
- The small blue circle represents the duck pond
- The two black marks near the top represent the house and outbuilding
- The purple outline shows roughly the size of a full size fooball pitch - this is to give an approximate idea of the extent of the land.
The initials represent:
- FF = fenced field
- UF = Unfenced field
- P = Pond
- FVP = Fruit, vegetables and polytunnels
- G = The front flower garden
