Ceredigion is a costal county occupying much of the Cardigan Bay coastline. Cardigan is in the south of the county and Aberystwyth in the North. Inland the county extends to the length of the Cambrian Mountains which run north to south. About midway is the small town of Tregaron. About 10 miles to the south is Lampeter.
How to get to the smallholding:
From Tregaron: Tynreithin is a hamlet about 2 miles north west of Tregaron on the A485 to Aberystwyth which is about 15 miles further to the north.
About 2 miles out from Tregaron you will pass a few houses, the sign for Tynreithin, then a telephone box on the right. We are down a small tarmac lane on the left about 20 yards after the telephone box. The lane goes down to the side of the white house.
From Aberystwyth: take the A487 coast road to Cardigan. After a couple of miles you will see a garage on the right selling tractors and other agricultural machinery. Just after this garage, there is the A485 turning on the left, just as the road starts going uphill. Follow the A485 for about another 12 miles until you get to Tynreithin - The main cluster of houses is about a mile after the Tynreithin road sign. Turn right down the lane beside the white house about 20 yards before the telephone box on the left.
