Opposite the kitchen and sun room are the original outbuildings. These were re-roofed when the barn was built and have translucent panels providing good light inside. They consist of:
- A workshop about 14'x12' with a range of cupboards, light and power
- A store room about about 21'x20' with light and power
- An open fronted area that can be used as a garage for a car - this is about 19x11'
- Behind the workshop is a covered area used as a log store
The main barn:
This is a modern steel barn, 48'x16' with a solid concrete floor. There is a large double door to the front (about 8' wide and over 9' high) and a smaller single door to the rear. The roof has translucent panels making it quite light and airy. It has power and is well lit with florescent lights.
Polytunnels:
These are behind the barn. The first is 24'x10' and the second 50'x14'
Potting shed
This is by the polytunnels. It was a bespoke unit supplied by a local business. It is fully glazed to the front, has a full length bench and is 10'x8'
Summer house
This sits and the far corner of the front flower garden, has a small 'patio' and faces westward to catch the evening sun. It is about 12'x6'
Chicken Sheds
There is just one left which is built up on skids so that it can be dragged around the property. The size is 8'x4', plus an overhanging nesting box. If not previously sold, it may be available for sale.
